Created from the aftermath of the last great battle of the gods, Lodoss and its kingdoms have been plagued by war for thousands of years. As a quiet peace and unity finally become foreseeable over the land, an unknown evil begins to stir. An ancient witch has awakened, bent on preserving the island of Lodoss by creating political unbalance throughout the many kingdoms and keeping any one from maintaining central control. Only a mixed-race party of six young champions, led by the young warrior Parn, stand between this new threat and Lodoss' descent back into the darkness of war and destruction.
Any way gameOn will began accepting applications for 3,000 beta testers on the "ultra-tactical card battle role-playing game" today. The application period ends next Monday, and the closed beta test will run from November 22 to November 28. Those who take part will receive a rare Gacha ticket and a limited item.
GameOn announced last year that it acquired the global license to make an online game for computers and mobile phones based on the Record of Lodoss War fantasy franchise from Kadokawa Production and Slowcurve. Ryo Mizuno, the novelist and co-creator of the franchise, is serving as supervisor on the development of the online game.
Players can form a party with the main character Parn from Mizuno's novels and subsequent anime, and search 3D dungeons. Players can then engage enemies with card battles.
GameOn's development and distribution license is worldwide, and the company intends to run the game not only in Japan, but throughout the world. wich makes me rely happy I cant what to get my hands on this game when it makes its way to the US
