marvel VS capcom 3 AKA why are my fingers bleeding
hey guys otakunick hear with a review for you i know its been ages since i last reviewed sum thing well your waiting is over because i got one hell of a review for you guys and thats a review on MVC3
now what to start theres rely a hell of a lot to talk about i know lets start with what comes with the special edition well it was a shore thing i would be getting the special edition manly because hell i love MVC to begin with but the special edition rely dus give you your extra 10$ worth in content first off you get a steal case with fantastic front and back cover art as well as sum cool art on the inside of the case as well that is only for the special edition as well as a shore comic/art books witch i do have to say was a bit underwhelming but over all a nice addition now i come to the main reason i got the special edition and thats the downloadable charters at the back of the art book you get two cods one code is to DL jill from resident evil and shuma-gorath from the Doctor Strange comic now if you get the special edition you will not just be able to enter the code into your xbox or PS3 you willl need to fallow the instructions to get them this is not sum thing i liked i never did it did not work good with mass effect 2 and tho i fallowed the instructions iv sill to get the prober DL code in my email and i put the code in at 12 they say to give it 24 hours but hostly they shud have just giving us the proper code to begin with but thats a small gripe the second code you get is for a one month free trial of marvel online witch is marvels online comic reading services witch i may or may not use i have not decided yet
next up is the look of the game now its been a long time since MVC 2 and as much as I love sprite based fighting games it was expected for them to go the way of street fighter 4 and make the game using polygon models this is booth good and bad it dus make the game flow better with out the hassle of drawing thousands of charter animations like what blaze blue did but the down side is the charters look a bit plain and un detailed but then again they move so fast and theres so many effects flying during the fight that you barley notes the loss of detail
now on to the music i know what the fuck dos music have to do with a fighting game well without it the game would get old rely fast and MVC3 OST dos not dissonant all the new charters have a theme and even the old charters themes have gotten much needed updates allowing for sum thing fun to listion to when you beet down on your buds or when your the one reeving the beet down
now lets talk about the roster of charters you get 30 to start with 15 on each side with 4 more to unlock once again 2 on each side and allows you to save teams now this would be all well and good but there are sum charters that just feel out of place and ones that are fare to obscure to warrant even being in this game hopefully this will be fixed with more downloadable charters later down the rode but for now i cant help but thing what charters shud rely be in the game and the ones that rely don not belong
and last but not lest the core game play now this game controls are diffident from MVC2 its now using a 4 butten light medium hard and special config rather then the old 2 punch 2 kick butten config as well as ads simple mode witch negates the need for move input fear not this dos not rely hurt the balance of game play sum one just starting on simply will not be much of a threat to sum one who actually plays normal mode but at the same time it still give new players a fighting chance unlike most other fighting games in addition to that the game also records a shit ton of stats as well as training and mission modes witch help a great deal
now tho i just rely scratched the surface of the game play mechanics i do not rely have the time to go over every little thing so i will be leveeing you hear with this final words i love this game and if you like fighting games your bound to like it to the game plays good the charters tho sum feel like they do not rely belong all are fun to play with and hearing deadpool yell at you thew the screen is fun

its finally happens iv gotten so obsessed over fighting games i am building a custom one

with the Ade of MUGEN anyone can make there own fighting game with as many charters as they like and as of yesterday i am one of thos people i DL mugen 1.0 from mugen-infantry as well as a custom skinpack that alows me over 100 charters and of cores i am now looking to build my raster as of right now i have 13 charters added to the game and on the hunt for many more now i am not going to lie to you and say adding charters and editing this game is easy its not but at the same time if you read the instructions that are included in each section to edit a part of the game you will be fine also there are plenty of tutorials on how to do stuff
now for thos that don't know anything about mugen and wondering just what the fuck i am talking about hers a brief history on the game
Elecbyte released the customizable fighting game M.U.G.E.N in 1999. The engine was originally released on July 17, 2001. Beta versions of it were made to work on DOS, Linux and Windows platforms, distributed through their website. The engine allows users to insert created characters, background stages, and other game objects through interpreted text files, graphics, and sound compilations to create a functioning fighting game similar to commercial games. While the engine is set up primarily for fighting game development, several other game types have been developed using it, including shooter and platform style games. Officially, Elecbyte claims to have forgotten what the acronym M.U.G.E.N stood for, but the readme documentation states that its meaning referred to the days when the engine was meant to emulate shooting games as opposed to fighting games. The meaning of "mugen" in Japanese, "unlimited", may have influenced the naming. M.U.G.E.N later expanded into a wide variety of teams and communities such as Mugen Fighters Guild, and Club Syndicate.
now as it stands this game is pretty much useless if you just DL the game itself and are not going to add more charters or stages becuse the game only comes with 2 charters and two stages to begin with as well as only allowing for 12 charters to be added once you get the game you will need to DL stages and charters and then add them i myself plain once i get it looking just how i want it to will be uploading my mugen to be DLed for thos that dont want to go thew the trouble of editing there own but thats going to be a long time away because i am not even 1/50 away from finishing with it so if you think you can what whats probably going to take a year or two then you can what for me if not get your own and start creating untill then have fuck guys

let the fight begin

as sum of you may now Im a big fighting game fan weather it be street fighter to verchawa fighter I love them all and one of my favret fighting games is blazblue witch was developed by Arc System Works. The game's name is a portmanteau of "blaze" and "blue," with the "z" sound omitted in the Japanese pronunciation, rendering it similar to the word "brave" in pronunciation. The game is currently released for the Taito Type X2 arcade system board, with a 16:9 ratio and 768p resolution. It was released on November 19, 2008 in Japan and November 20, 2008 in the United States. It was released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 home consoles on June 25, 2009 and when it did it looked great still duse I have to say its one of the best looking fighters out thar

the story is good to Prior to the events of BlazBlue, humanity was on the verge of extinction from the "Black Beast", a creature of Darkness. The world was saved by six heroes who wielded magic. They helped humanity create "Ars Magus", a fusion of magic and technology, to defeat the Beast.
After the war, the Novus Orbis Librarium (the Library or NOL for short) was created to govern the world with the use of Ars Magus. A great deal of dissent was caused by the Library, partly due to Ars Magus' use in nearly every facet of society, and the widening socioeconomic gap between those who could and couldn't use Ars Magus. This dissent would eventually form years later into The Ikaruga Civil War, when the Ikaruga Union openly rebelled against the Library. After the war, the Library imposed a harsher rule on the world, punishing any rebellion against the Library with the death penalty.
In December A.D. 2199, several years after the Ikaruga Civil War, a branch of the Library was utterly destroyed by an SS-class rebel named "Ragna the Bloodedge" also known as the "Grim Reaper", in an attempt to destroy the entire Library. The Novus Orbis Librarium, hoping to stop him, immediately announced the largest bounty ever, available to anyone who could capture him. Interestingly, Ragna possesses a powerful form of Ars Magus known as the "Azure Grimoire" (Grimoire of the Blue in Japan), also known as the BlazBlue. This led the Librarium, as well as the Ikaruga Union and other fighters, to hunt Ragna not just for his bounty, but also his grimoire.

and the way they tell this story is fucking great its told in VN style meeining that thar many stagnet pics with textfor cut seens but dont worry thars voce acting thow youl stell neet to read alot to lol and trust me youl whant to but in each rute they hav CGs to colet and the only what to do that is to get 100% with all the chariters essy huh gust go thew each chariter once wrong evry once and a wiol(well more like alot0 your given a chocs on what actions to take and depending on witch oes you do youl get a difrent outcome and subsaquently difrent CGs so youl be playing thew each rute more then once I meself am about 80% dune with ragna 67% with jin and 49% with taokaka and thats it I havent played any other chariters yet

and I have to say this game has one of the most complext fighting systoms I have ever seen but at the same time is essy to pick up and play if your new(just dont exspect to get to the top of the lederbord)now for the fighting systom BlazBlue is a traditional 2D fighter where two characters participate in a duel on a two dimensional plane. A round is called a "rebel" and one match can consist of one to five "rebels". To win a round, one player must either incapacitate the other by inflicting damage through various attacks to reduce health or by having more remaining health after the clock runs out if the rules of the match has one.
Every character has a weak, medium and strong attack. Also every character has a "unique" technique, called a Drive attack, which is different for each character. Those attacks are also known as "A", "B", "C" and "D". Various combos can be performed by every character through careful input of regular and drive attacks. A combo consists of two or more consecutive attacks that hit an opponent without them retaliating. As combos become longer, each attack will do less damage than normal to give the opponent a chance to retaliate. Grabs can be incorporated into combos also by pressing the "B" and "C" buttons at the same time. Occasionally, some attacks (e.g. Jin's Hirensou) will use portions of the player's heat gauge at the bottom of the screen. The heat gauge is filled by either dealing or receiving damage. When at a certain percentage, special moves called "distortion drives" can be performed. When a distortion drive is successfully performed and connects with the opponent, it deals massive damage and is visually flashier than normal attacks.
Along with attacks every character has two types of block. One is the regular block that can be broken with a "guard crush". That can be achieved by pushing the "guard libra" gauge all the way to the opponent's side through repeated attacks. If the opponent keeps blocking, then their guard can be broken, leaving them open for attack. The second type of block is a barrier block, which is initiated by blocking while holding the "A" and "B" buttons at the same time. A barrier block cannot be broken like a normal guard, but there is a limit on how long one can be held, which is indicated by the barrier gauge. If the barrier gauge empties, then the player will receive 150% damage until it regenerates to half-full. and what i just put thar is the basic stuff Id rather not get into the more advans stuff as I cant hunderstand how to use haff of(read the little comic this was one of my reactions after figering sumthing out) it lol and let me tell you youl whant a fight stick Iv been playing on my 360s reguler controler and after one rebel my hands kill me
the sound trake is rely good I acholy found myself geting my ass kicke becuse I as paying to mutch atenchon to the BGM insted of the achuwell match lol and thars alot of fun stuff you can do with it like this AMV of one of my favret chariters in the game and I ashuer you all the sounds you hear in this vid are all from the game its relly amaving and funny
over all I give blazblue calamity trigger 2 big thubms up if your a fan of 2D fighters or fighters ingenarol youl whant this game for your coletion and if your a fan of VNs then get it becuse this story is rely good on par with RPG storys

Minato Sahashi is extremely intelligent, yet due to his inability to cope under pressure has failed the college entrance exam twice. As a result he has been branded an idiot and loser by many. One day after talking to his yet again disappointed mother he comes into contact with a girl named Musubi who was under attack. The girl runs but takes him with her and soon finds that Minato, while unknown to him, is an Ashikabi, one of the mysterious set of masters that have the genetic trait that can become partners with some of the 108 cute girls, buxom women, and bishōnen(cute boy) called "Sekirei". The reason for the partnership allows the Sekirei to use all their power to win in the competition held by the mysterious MBI corporation.
