OtakuNick reviews: Kakumeiki Valvrave (Valvrave the Liberator)

Hey guys OtakuNick hear witch a new review for you. Yes I know Its been a long time but I was in a rely big slump but now Im back and tho I will not be posting as often I will be posting what I love the post the most reviews of anime. Because Iv alwaysed beleved its the duty of thows that have watched way to much to gide thows that have watched almost nothing. so with out any more delays lets get to it.


Production
This anime was brout to us by three company's first being Sunrise beast known for being the animation company behind the mobile suit Gundam franchise witch hase be going for nerly 35 years now. But they where also the company that gave us Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, and many more anime now cunsitered classics. the next two companys are mor like one as they are just to branches of the same parent company Aniplex, and Aniplex of America. If thow names ring more bells in your head then sunrise that is no saprise as they are the ones that brout you animes like Blood+, Darker then black, and most notably Fullmetal Alchemist and  Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. So needless to say this anime has alot of big names behind it.

Staff
Now then even if the show was made by big companys that dosint meen they will be good no thats up to the staff. And let me say the people that worked on this anime know thar stuff. First off we have the Director Matsuo, Kou thow I wouldint call him the most well know director he dos a okay job hear and sum of his more notable works includ being on the Storyboard staff for Gundom 00. next up is Okouchi, Ichiro the script writer unlike Matsuo Kou  Okouchi, Ichiro is what Id call a big time player as he work on sum farly high profiled shows as a script writer such as Trun A gundam, code geass, and Eureka Seven He even wrote the  Screenplay from one of my favret lesser know anime Shigofumi. So needless to say the scrip is in good hands. Now then whare would a Mecha anime be without kick ass robots well Washio, Naohiro has you covered thar this is the man behinf the Fafner in Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor - Exodus and he makes sum rely cool looking mecha for this anime.

Story
True Calendar (T.C.) 71 - A new age where 70% of the human population lives in space thanks to the development of "Dyson Sphere", a city in space.

The world is divided into two main powers: The Dorssia Military Pact Federation, a power which grew out of a military alliance, and the Atlantic Rim United States (ARUS), which grew in power as it expanded its trade agreements. The minor nation of JIOR has declared neutrality between these two forces and maintains its peace through economic prosperity.

Within the JIOR's Sphere, Haruto Tokishima lived an ordinary life as a high school student in the division known as "Module 77"—until the Dorssian military begins their sudden invasion!

But the whole world will be shaken when Haruto meets the mysterious humanoid weapon, Valvrave!

Now then the story may seem like your basic gundam rip off and cunsitering this animes back ground one couldint be blamed for doing so. But its the sub plots that are rely going to get you to watch this anime. And I must say the way the first season leaves off you will ether be dreading you have to wait so long for season two or just give up on the show. myself I cant wait for season two.

Art/Animation
like I sed this anime was made by both sunrise and aniplex two companys known for having good animation in thare more high profile shows and let me just say they do no disapont sunrise is in top form with animating the mecha and aniplexes charters are as crisp and emoting as ever when it comes to animation this show has the beast of bolth worlds.
 

Sound/Music

Okay so so fare we hve talked about the story, art and who made the show all that is left is how the show sounds. I have to say I love the OST and sound effects in this show plain and simple. Yes the OST is no ware near Yoko Kano level work but for this show is great I always have a hard time skipping the OP and I never skip the ending theme as for insert songs thow non stick out to me as must haves at the time they worked varry well. so over all I say this is a varry nicely put togreather sound track

Vertic

Okay so for you that just like a yea or nay type revie and dont whant to read my long winded review hears the clifnotes. the show is good it come from good stock and its art is good looking. the story is okay the main plot will not be turing many heads but the subplots will keep you intaresed in the show  and show is has a polerising ending for the first season thare will be a second season. and the music is nice. so basicly Im say this is worth a watch .

otakunick reviews (code geass Nunnally in Wonderland)

  

Hey guys otakunick her with a new review for you today its the new code geass OVA Nunnally in Wonderland. the story is as fallowed nunnally and leluch are relaxing in a Meadows sumwar talking and as they talk nunnally asks leluch to tell her a story like he did when they where still kids. And leluch being well leluch he gos overboard and uses his geass to comaned the inter cast of code geass to act out the story he narrates and the story in question is alice in wonderland thow replacing alice with nunnally and all the charters from the show show up as difrent charters from the story.

   Now then the first thing you might notest about this OVA is the animation or the lack thare of. It seems that sunrise has desied to make this like one of the CD dramas from when the show was still airing and I have to say it works. If thare was one thing rely wrong with code geass it was how the charters tend to move and thats thanks to clamps original charter design. they just dont animate well never have but using vary little animation to the point that only sum seens even have any movment bast fading in or out rely works in the OVAs vafer. but dont get me wrong its not all stills thare are sum animated sceens and I have to say they are all the more fun with the overall lack of animation. As for the art over all its just as good if not better then the TV animes like I sed befor clamps work alwas looks beast when still it alows them to get as estravagent as they like hence all the concept are for code geass looks great but when its animated it tens to loose almost all detail and I have to say if this was animated normaly it would look no ware ner as good.

  Next on the rundown is the voice work. Its alwas fun to see voice acters acholy have fun with the roles they play it gives a wormth to the production thats rely needed. And if the cast for this OVA just phoned it in like so many do for little projects like this I dont think I would have liked it. And on a persanal note i happy to hear Norio Wakamoto as Charles zi Britannia once again hell I just love hearing norio wakamoto in genareil hes probly my favreat VA and just like in all his other roles he rely steels any sceen hes in. 

Now then the music has to be the weekest part in the OVA not because its bad oh god its just as good as the anime is fact thats the problem it is the animes sound track all the OVA dose is rip tracks from season one and twos soundtracks without adding anything new. Witch is to be exspected I held no delution that they would do anything els but still it would have been nice to hear sum new tracks see to how Nakagawa, Koutarou would deal with a alice in wonderland.

Over all I liked this OVA its only 28 minuets long and for fans of the show its fun to see witch charter plays witch in fact befor watching the OVA I made a list of who would be who and I sugest you do too.

otakunicks thoughts Zetman anime

hey guys its me otakunick and I got a new first thoughts on for you this week its Zetman a anime adaptation of one of my favret mangas and befor I get into it let me just say dispite the fact I will watch this all the way thew this first ep has not givein me high hopes for the rest of the anime in fact im getting redy for a completly disaponting anime only ending(the manga is still ongoing) but Il get into all my grips as I talk about the stuff your hear for

first off the story starts off with a face-off between two rival heroes, ZET and ALPHAS, and then traces their origins - Jin Kanzaki, a young man with the ability to transform into a superhuman being known as ZET, and Kouga Amagi, a young man with a strong sense of justice who uses technology to fight as ALPHAS.

The fates of these two men and those around them intertwine as they fight to protect mankind and destroy monstrous abominations known as Players, who ironically are the creations of the Amagi Corporation, the company founded by Kouga’s grandfather, Mitsugai Amagi. now this is the basic story that the anime and manga both share but whare the anime drops the ball is its run time this will be a 13 ep serires and thats all well and good but to even tell the first arc of the manga properly youd need atlest 5 to 8 eps alone but doing that wouldint leve any time for the seoned arc witch cud be told properly in about 4 to 5 eps but what the anime did was esencholy cundense the intier firsr arc into 1 ep and boy dos it suffer for it so many inportent parts have been ether cut cundensed or changed stuff that later down the rod is inportent for the charters develapment hell the whole end fight to the first arc is completly difrent from the manga but one good thing is it s atlest coherint and is not cunfusintg as much as it bugs me a fan of the mang sumone going into it not knowing zet man will have fun with the story but with the type of story zetman has i dont see the story holding to geather in the man long as inorder to cut it down to 13 eps thy will need to take alot of stuff out resolting in the end product being so far frum the origanel as it can be one anime that comes to mind to compar this to is the samurai deeper kyo anime but unlike that anime thy are atlest trieing to be fathfull to the manga whare as with kyo thy sed fuck it origanal story from ep one


the art is okay thy replacated the mangas art nicely with only slight detal loss in the animation so even if the story falls apart down the road the art can pick up sum of the slack and the same gos for the music its acholy prety good the sound track was sumthing I wasint a style I was to fermiler with with alot of intrasting scores so I checked out who the composer was and this OST is the first anime OST from a new composer to the indastry Roberto, Gabriele and truth be told i rely cant what to see what he can do with the sound trak and if he is up to the task of doing a zetman OST



so over all Im relucktintly giveing zetman a pass if you think you mite like this go for it but for all you long time Zetman manga fans Im sorry to say this is not the adaptation we wher hopen for and it is probly going to fall apart in the end but to new comers this mite be a fun watch so untill next week keep of whatching anime guys

hey guys yea I know its late but I was playing AC5 yesterday lol but I do have sum thing for you and that would be a review of Matsumoto, Leiji newest anime ozuma and let me just say I rely love seeing matsumotos art in HD i never thought it cud look as good as it dos but from the man who gave us yamato and harlok what do you exspect

so lets get right into it the story starts us off In the far future, the elevated irradiation from the sun has destroyed the environment of the earth and the birthrate of humans has drastically decreased. The government controls society with an army of cloned soldiers called "Ideal Children (IC)". Sam Coin is a trader in a desert. One day, he saves a beautiful woman Maya, who has been chased by Theseus, a corps of IC. He shelters her in his trade ship, but the destroyers of Theseus surround Sam and Maya.your probly thinking WTF is this and well all I can say is the story is on pare with most matsumoto works witch meens even thow this anime is only 6 eps we are going to have a intense ride

like I sed befor I love the art Iv always ed loved matsumotos art he rely can draw and it looks like now TV can acholy do a matsumoto anime without decreasing the detail in his art so this anime looks great and just like other matsumoto anime its got a good sound track to it as well I absalutly love the op of this new anime as of right not its my favret op of the two summer anime Iv seen so fare and its rely close to the level of having the same power that Captain Herlock - The Endless Odyssey Clean's Opening had




so all and all this is a must watch for anime old school anime fans like myself and anyone who loves matsumotos work

otakunicks retro review (devil hunter yohko)

hey guys its me otakunick and to be honest I rely shud be in bed right now Im barly abel to keep myself up thanks to being sick as a dog but after you guys whated for 3 weeks and me not giveing to a review last week Im gana do as kamina would say and grit my teath and do a review lol

so yea todays review is another retro review as thy are so much easyer to do lol and today Im pulling out what is maby my oldest gilty plesher OVA devil hunter yohko let my exsplane this OVA first aird in japan in 1990 and ended 1995(OVAs back then wher ushaly better quolaty then the stuff on tv so it tuck more time and money to make them) but me being in the US I didint see it till thy brout it ver her on the anime network ondamand(I miss that time)around 2002 now then this was my first time watching sumthing from madhouse and I was just floored by the art and animation now then the Original Character Design was a person by the name of Miyao, Gaku and as far as I can tell this is the only one of thare works to be animated but but dispite that the OVA came ot great to this day I love it the art music and story are all nice the story beeing the weekest part thow as its pretty ganaric even by its standerds and sum of the seens play out like this was going to be a hentai at first but that just adds to the charm


Yohko Mono is a regular girl making her way through high school--until she learns that she is the 108th successor to a line of warriors charged with defending the earth against demons. Eventually she must fight her ultimate battle against the demon who started it all.

so over all I say give this one a watch if you dont like it then go watch sumthing els but if yo like 90s anime and OVas this one cant hurt

hey guys I rely didn't feel like doing a review for one of the new shows this week so today Im diving into my massive back log of anime I have watched to review a older show you know the rules only anime 10 years or older for my retro reviews so this week its love hina a anime based off of ken Akamatsu's best selling manga of the same name ken Akamatsu is probly best know for this work or his negima manga witch also had gotten a anime but what people may not know is that akamatsu got his start drawing hentai but that was so long ago its nearly impassabl to find any of it even I haven't been able to find even a name to type don hear now if thars one word that can discrip most of his work it would be herem just about all of his long ruining mangas are herem mangas and love hina just may be his most well known one but your not hear to hear me talk about the creator you want to know about the show it self

the story fallows Keitaro Urashima who promised a girl when he was young that they would meet up again at Tokyo University in the future. Sadly, in the National Practice Exam, Keitaro ranked 27th from the bottom. Knowing his grandmother owned a hotel, Keitaro intended to stay there while continuing his studies for Tokyo U, only to find out the hotel had long been transformed into an all-girls dormitory. Through an odd twist of fate, Keitaro eventually became the manager of the dorm, beginning his life of living with 5 other girls. I know its rely just a plain old herem well your right the story is just a arcatipacol herem but thats what akamatsu whants you to think yes its still in the herem catagory in the sence that the lead is saroundid by many girls but not all whant to get with him only 3 out of the 5 girls do and for vareus resons that go deper then oh his the lead I want to be with him now but thare is a clear cut winer at the end and een thow Im not going to say who that is anyone whos read even one chapter of the manga or watched one ep of the sho can figer it out(he I sed it was difrent from most heram I didint say it was great)

no then the art well the show cam out in 2000 when hand drawn anime was on the way out and CG anime was starting to take over Id would like to say that thy whent with hand draw witch at the time was better but sadly this was one of the erly 2000 CG anime meening it looked pretty bad atlest compared to todays anime but it was watchable

as for the sound track once agen it was the 2000s thar is nothing worth wile in the OST the op gives me a head ach and well over all the ladt 12 years havent been kind


over all I would like to say go and watch this as when i fist watched it i liked it but I rely cant the anime of love hina is rely not worth the time now yea the charters are nice but the scrip is crap thare are way to many filer Eps and almost no progress mad between the leeds if you whant the story of love hina go read the manga it is fare better the last 12 years have rely been hard on this anime

hey guys its me otakunick again and just like I sed when the OVA came out we have gotten a black rock shooter TV series as well tho only 8 EPs long its shaping up to be pretty good it makes it point alot clearer then the OVA that the world that black rock shooter fights it is a symbolic one to give a visual representation of whats going on in the emotional states of the cast witch was sum thing I gessed at back when the ova came out but has now been confirmed as the truth so without feather adu lets get right into the review


It isn't the world you know. There wanders a girl with jet-black hair, ebony clothes, and a strikingly blue, glowing eye. Her name is Black Rock Shooter. With a huge cannon in hand, she throws herself into a fierce battle...

Meanwhile, in another world, middle-school student Mato Kuroi is drawn to Yomi Takanashi, her classmate with an unusual family name. Mato does her best to talk to Yomi, who just won't open up. Yu Koutari mocks her best friend Mato's efforts but at the same time, supports her. Mato also finds herself surrounded by other colorful characters at school, like the eccentric school counselor, Saya Irino, and the hot-blooded captain of her club Arata Kohata.

Then, one day, the window of opportunity opens. After Mato sees that Yomi has her favorite picture book, "Li'l Birds At Play", they strike up a conversation and Mato is invited to come over to Yomi's house. There, they gradually break the ice, until a girl in a wheelchair appears. This is Yomi's best friend, Kagari Izuriha...

pretty interesting set up huh the anime is not going to be the best in the world in fact at the moment the story telling is pretty meh and the scripted not the best but at lest the over arking plot has sum thing to it

as for the art well its not as good as the ovas but since they have to make more then one EP i can understand the lack in detail when compared tho thats not saying its bad art is acholy pretty good but I do need to say you mite find yourself looking bast the simplified charter models to the vibrant back grounds becuase it looks like thy spent more time making the back drops then the achuwell charters them self

now to what all you real BRS fans whant to know yes the OP is the black rock shooter song and yes its song by hatsumi miku tho it sounds like thy have made miku a little mor humen sounding witch i like aside from that the OST isint to bad a bit underwhelming but still works for BGMs atlest




so over all would I sagest watching this well lets just say yea I would its not the best show in the world but like last weeks entry you cud rely do lot worst things with your free time and I alredy now all BRS fans and miku fans will be watching this regardless

hey guys its me otakunick as alwas hear to give you a first thoughts one of this seasons new anime this weeks its inu X boku SS and let me just say I am liking this one grated its not going to make any of my top tens but its defanetly a show worht watching atlest once

the story fallows The Shirakiin house's(a powerful family in the story) daughter, Shirakiin Ririchiyo, who has a complex about being unable to live independently and unprotected, feels the need to move out and live on her own under the condition of residing in the mansion named "Ayakashi Kan." In this mansion, only those who have cleared a very strict examination could reside in it, and for each resident, they are accompanied with one agent of the Secret Service (S.S.). Although Riricho has rejected the company of the S.S., while residing in the mansion she finds out that the agent dedicated to protecting her is actually the Fox Spirit whom she previously rescued(tho has no memory of doing so). now then the story is probably not going to draw you in it shore as hell did'int for me the thing that drew me in was the charters and let me say Im liking the dynamic the leads have yes Ririchiyo falls under the clarification of stundere but to keep things fresh shes all was going on in her head not to be mean to people and when shes is she always the first to kick herself in the but for it and Miketsukami, Soushi makes a interesting male lead to say the least hes a over the top type of guy who will bend over backwords and bark like a dog if Ririchiyo told him to thats how gun how hi is about serving her and let me just say I have not seen black sparkles used this well since soma from working

now with story out of the way lets get to the art i think its pretty good not the best the back grounds are a bit plain but being as its set in a city I can look that over and i have to say I do like the charter designs that Iizuka, Haruko came up with reminds me alot of Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi so to sum it up okay back drops with good charter design


now the music is whare they drop the ball dont get me wrong I absalutly love the OP but the rest of the sound track is bland witch is saprising as Nakagawa, Koutarou was in charge of the sound track and he ushaly makes good stuff but I guess everyone has that missteps


so over all Im giving this a pass its not a must watch but if you got sum free time and you whant a funny and heart waring show to fill sum time thare are worst shows to do it with

otakunicks thoughts on nisemonogatari

hey guys otakunick hear to bring you guys yet another first thoughts on this time its shafts new anime nisemonogatari. This may sound fermiler to you and it shud because its a Sequel anime to one of shafts most popular anime Bakemonogatari witch was adapted from Nisio, Isin(story) and Vofan's (Art) light novel back in 2006 since then more anime from thare work have come out namely katanagatari but all the fans wanted to know when wed be able to see Araragi and friends again well shaft just gave us the answer tho i have to say I was expecting the Prequel Kizumonogatari to come out first since that was the one they kept advertising this anime rely came out of left field but oh well even if this one came out first i know Kizumonogatari will come out sooner or later hell with the way this series is we mite just see a nekomonogatari adaptation as well but lets get right donw to thinsgs

first off the story since this is a sequel to bakemonogatari I dont rely have much to talk about aside for whats happaing now in the story but if you never watched the first anime go back and check out my review of bakemonogatari but other then that this is whats going on The black swindler Kaiki Deishu, who once deceived Hitagi, returns to town and spreads the incantation which cursed Nadeko before. so yea this story deals with Araragi's sister as they trake down and tire to ceach kaiki but Im shore we all know how thats going to turn out for them


aside from the story thare are two other in portent factors that rely make monogatari story so worth wail to watch and thats the art and music which in thare own was make this show worth the wath even if youv never heard of the anime befor but I cant rely do them justes with words so Im going pull a rely big cop out and just put up the first 2 OPs for you to watch ad see what I meen when I say this animes art and music will have you waching this show in no time



now with that all sed and dune all i have to say is give this show a watch is youv alredy seen the preveus one if you havent seen bakemonogatari I say watch that then watch this till next time guys

well then sum of you mite know that I am a bit or a horror fanatic ever since my dad had be watch the hellraser movies when i was six(trust me when I say this you make a 6 year old watch that he will never be scard of a movie ever again) so you can imagine my glee to hear that among this seasons other anime a horror anime would be present and let me just say it may be damn near impossible to scar me but I can recognize when a horror story is doing it right and another is defiantly doing it right its got good passing witch is whats the most in portent in horror story's the make or brake factor in a horror story is infarct its passing more so then other story type you cant just thow out the monster or the killer right away you need to make the viewer think and when the viewer is thinking that is when the real fun starts but you did not come hear to hear me lecture you on what makes a good horror story you want to know about another

another's story starts 26 years ago, in a third-year classroom of a middle school, there was a student named Misaki. As an honors student who was also good at sports, the charming girl was popular with her classmates. When she suddenly died, her classmates decided to carry on as if she was still alive until graduation. Then, in the spring of 1998, a boy named Sakakibara Kouichi transfers to that classroom, and he grows suspicious of the fearful atmosphere in that classroom. In particular, there is a beautiful, aloof girl named Mei Misaki who wears an eyepatch and is always alone drawing pictures. I know what your thinking WTF this is'int scary and your right the set up is not what makes it a good horror its what do after the first ep starts witch makes it a good horror all I can say is give it 2 or 3 eps it will start picking up soon but mark my words this has the making of a grade A horror story even with its PG-13 rating

now on to the sound track there is one group I would trust with making a OP for a horror anime and let me just say another got that one group Ali project is probably the best at setting a pitcher in your head of this shit will get real and with such anime as code geass, shigafumi and Katanagatari its no wonder why they chose this group do do the op but a good OP cant make up for bad BGMs but thankfully with otani Kou making the OST we got a masterful sound track that just scream out to be parsed and for good resin the way otani handled this OST is just great the biled up in the chorus at the more intense seens is rely just what was needed so yea with the op and the BGMs so good Id say they rely did great with the OST


now the art is probly the thing I can talk the lest about its not that its bad in no way is it bad its realy good but Im just rely use to seeing Ishii Yuriko art style by now and as thus I come to expect a serten level from him witch he gave us hear witch is rely reminiscent of darker then black mixed with a bit of blood+ witch works well but is sumthing iv alredy seen a good amount of time by now so arts good just not ground brakeing

so over all I say yea give another a shot its probly going to be one of the better tittels this season if not the year

otakunicks thoughts on Rinne no Lagrange

hey guys its me again hear to let you know my thoughts on this seasons newest anime and this week its Rinne no Lagrange witch if I just made an assumption on how good it will be by the director and producers Id say this show would be good but we all know that is not how I work tho I do have to say going into this knowing its produced by production I.G and Xbec as well as directed by Suzuki, Toshimasa the same man who also directed Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor - Heaven and Earth, Heroic Age, and Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase I was a bit more apt to think okay this will probably be good and jugging from the first ep i was right to think so but you dont come hear to read my rambolings on how a show can be good if it comes from the right people you whant to know what i think about the show it self well then lets get right into it

the story falows Madoka Kyouno is an energetic girl who is full of passion. As the proud, and only, member of the Kamogawa Girls' High School Jersey Club, she goes around helping people in need.

Madoka's life is turned upside down when she is suddenly asked by a mysterious girl named Lan to pilot a robot. Motivated by her desire to protect the people and city of Kamogawa, Madoka agrees to pilot the resurrected Vox robot to fight against extraterrestrials that have come to attack Earth. so yea a bit of a minamalistic set up but thats the norm for mecha anime and I have to say I like that they only gave us tidbits of info and left the rest up to speculation for now witch for me is a plus because it gives us a resin to keep watching the hole dangling carrot ruteen

now for the art its pretty good but with production I.G backing this anime you shud exspect the production valuse to be good but regardless i do like the art its refreshing if anything Id say it reminded my of real dive another anime from I.G thow unlike real dive the girls dont look like they go to BK two times a day lol

now for the music and just let me say if thar is one way to make me love a shows music right away its by haveing a singer from macross sing for you and well this anime dos just that Nakajima, Megumi the voice for ranka lee in macross F sings the op for this anime and lets just say I instently knew who it was she rely has a easy voice to pick out of a audio line up so yea its a safe bet il be getting this OST



so in the end I have to say give Rinne no Lagrange its good not Mouretsu Pirates good but still a good anime I myself look forword to watching the next ep so untill then keep comeing back for more reviews bye

otakunicks thoughts on Mouretsu Pirates

So yea its the begging of the 2012 anime season and what better way to kick things off then with pirates and not just any Pirates cute cute girl space Pirates. Thats right Im hear to let you guys know what i think of Mouretsu Pirates so how about we get right into it because I acholy have a bit to say on this anime

first of like alwas the story The story centers around a spirited high school girl named Marika. She keeps herself busy with the space yacht club and her part-time job at a high-class retro café. One day, two people suddenly appear and claim to be subordinates of her dead father. They demand that she assume command of the space pirate ship Benten Maru. A privateer ship's compact was made during a war of independence a century ago, and according to that compact, the ship must be inherited by the captain's next direct descendant. Marika finds herself embarking on a new life as a space pirate. So yea what can I say who wouldint want to be in this girls shoes I know I would I mean camon being the caption of a band of space Pirates would be so much fun.

and speaking of fun it sounds like the VAs where having a blast doing this anime all the voices sound like each VA relay got into the roles they played witch resorts in a rely well recorded EP I hope they keep up the good work because if they do keep it up this show may just be the best voiced anime of this new year

but sadly whar thar is a good point thar is bound to be a bad on and this shows down fall is its art witch is rely pretty plain infact I can point out 2 or 3 charters from the first EP alone that look like they were swiped from other anime and the CG for the ships look like they were pulled from the erly 2000s but even with that sed it still looks good its the type of anime that even with sum bad art chooses still pulls together quite nicely espesholy when it come to detail in the backgrounds witch look great just so long as they dont go CG


so as of right now this show has one thing going for it and one thing agenst it (kinda) so whats the music like well all I can say is its great fits perfectly with the show and at the same time sounds good by its self I have been lisaing to the OP on a loop as I wright this review I mite even get the OST when it comes out


so with a goos story good voice work pasabel art and great music I have to recamend Mouretsu Pirates to anyone reading this blog but we all now just how fast a anime can go from great to oh my god why and with this anime having 26 EP it rely can get bad so come back when I do a mid series review in 11 weeks

First day at the new job

Hey guys it's me Otakunick hear to fill you guys in on some good news I got a job in witch I started today. That's right I finally have work steady work at that I now work for a company that handles returns and trade ins from amazon and other online site like that as a inspector in the multi-media department. Witch means I am in charge of inspecting the DVD, HDDVD, BRD, or video game that people return or trade in.

As for pay I am not letting that out all I will say is this job will keep me financially secure. Now that I have a set schedule my posts will be on ether Friday night Saterday or Sunday so look forward to having regular updates till next time
