Okay now for the next story if you remember a bit back I posted that thare was going to be a live action xxxHOLIC well The premium channel WOWOW updated its official website for the live-action xxxHOLiC television program with a photograph of the two main leads in costume. The actress and model Anne will play the role of Yuuko from CLAMP's original manga, while Shota Sometani will play the character Watanuki. Masahiro Higashide, Karen Miyazaki, Naoto Takenaka, and Yumi Adachi will also star in the show.

Keisuke Toyoshima will direct off scripts written by Jun Tsugita. The manga tells the story of Yuuko, a witch who grants people's wishes, but in return the person has to give up something precious, and Watanuki Kimihiro, a man who has visions. One day, Watanuki encounters Yuuko and she promises to get rid of the spirits that torment him. In return Watanuki must work in Yuuko's shop and help her grant other people's wishes.

The eight-episode series will premiere on February 24. And it cant come out fast enuph I am a major CLAMP fan and xxxHOLIC is one of my favrets as it is able to combined all other clamp manga togeather into one multi vers and not get as cunfusing as say DC comics.

OtakuNews Gachamon live action TV show to air in august

Japanese film distributor TOHO unveiled its 2013 lineup on Thursday, and among the titles are the live-action film adaptation of the classic Tatsunoko Productions science-fiction hero anime Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. The film will open in Japan on August 24.

Director Toya Sato (live-action Grave of the Fireflies, Sexy Voice and Robo, Kaiji, Gokusen) began shooting the film in October. Yūsuke Watanabe (20th Century Boys, Gantz, Bloody Monday, 2013 Dragon Ball Z film) wrote the script, and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed films) designed the characters.

Tori Matsuzaka (.hack//The Movie, live-action Kyō, Koi o Hajimemasu, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger) stars as Ken, the head of the eponymous team. Gō Ayano (second-in-command Jō), Ayame Gōriki (explosive yoyo-wielding Jun), Tatsuomi Hamada (youngest member Jinpei), and Ryōhei Suzuki (main pilot Ryū) round out the cast.

TOHO also announced that it will release the new American Godzilla film in 2014. Director Gareth Edwards (Monsters) and Legendary Pictures (The Dark Knight Rises) are planning the film for an American release by Warner on May 16, 2014.

Over all looks like a lot of big name talent is going to be working on this show so I will probly give it a shot. Hell I was a fan of gachaman as a kid tho it was called G-force then.

OtakuNews Minna! Esper Dayo manga gets live action show

2013's first issue of Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine is announcing on Monday that a live-action television adaptation of Kiminori Wakasugi's All Esper Dayo! (Minna! Esper Dayo!) manga has been green-lit. The psychic comedy follows an ordinary (virgin) high school boy named Yoshirō "Yocchan" Kamogawa. His life changes overnight when he wakes up with the ability to read other people's minds.

Yoshirō is not the only one to gain powers in his town. Teru-oichan, an (apparently virgin) worker at a café near Yoshirō's school, gains telekinesis — but he uses it for sex toys. Yōsuke Enomoto, a (probably virgin) senior and former basketball player at Yoshirō's high school, gains teleportation — but only while naked.

Wakasugi launched the manga in Weekly Young Magazine in 2009, shortly before he ended the popular comedy Detroit Metal City the following year. Kodansha has since published two compiled book volumes of All Esper Dayo!

Wakasugi's other ongoing comedy manga is the Fist of the North Star spoof Kappei. Viz Media published Detroit Metal City in North America, and New Pictures released Toshio Li's live-action film adaptation with Ken'ichi Matsuyama (Gantz, Death Note, NANA) in the lead role.

okay am I the only one that thinks that this live action project will turn out to be one of thows WTF japan shows.Im still intarested in how this will turn out and it seems to have sum good talent behind it but still two of the charters just make the show seem like alot of weird stuff is going to go down
