otakunick's reto reviews (otaku no video)

hey guys its me otakunick and Ig got a qestion for you ever whinder just how gainax got started well gess what they made a OVA about that in the erly 90s thow sinse its gainax we are talking about its over exaggerated to hell the name of the OVA is otaku no video and lets just say its rely fucking funny atlest I found it to be

like I sed this OVA is Somewhat based on the real story of how Gainax was founded, Otaku no video addresses all aspects of an otaku lifestyle. Ken Kubo is a young man living an average life until he is dragged into a group of otaku. Slowly, he becomes more like then until he decides to abandon his former life to become king of otaku -- the otaking! thow he comes to this chose after sum thing happens that esencholy makes him snap

Mixed in are live-action interviews with real otaku, addressing every aspect of hardcore otaku life. Not only are anime and manga fans included, but also sci-fi fans, military fans, and other groups of Japanese geeks. and I have to say qainax dos not pull any punches in the intaviews normaly you would exspect sumthing like this to make the otaku look as good as posabel not hear all the intaviews are as down to earth as you can don't get me wrong gainax is'int makeing fun of otaku they are just showing you what real outaku are like sum have good jobs and sum well lets just say fit the old stereotype of otaku to well

now as this is a exsagarated story of the founding of gainax it gos without saying that the main charters are exsagarations of the founding members of gainax Hideaki Anno, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, Hiroyuki Yamaga, Takami Akai, Toshio Okada, Yasuhiro Takeda and Shinji Higuchi. and youd be right but as for witch charter is who well you will have to find that out yourself but let me just say all the voice work is great tho sadly the founding members did not voice that anime conter parts but still like I sed the voice work is great

as for the sound track its your basic 90s OVA sound track but it works nothing to spectaculer but it gets the job done

as for the art its defiantly early gainax as this anime even predates evangelion and even thow is shars a simaler look id say it looks more like daicon III and daicon IV (two short OVAs when gainax was still going by the name Daicon Film but for all you eva fans out thare will get a kick out of the OP as eva uses the same back back ground with white text thing in its anime as this ova

so all and all would I recamend this to everyone the anser to that is a resonding hell no this is sum thing for hard core anime and gainax fans I dont think the casuwell anime fan that only whatches new stuff would rely like sumthing like this but if you like gainax and would like a nice ova that will make you think hard on your own fandom I say give otaku no video a trie its only 2 eps long and each ep is about 48 min so until next time keep whaching anime guys

I wish my little sister was like this

Kyousuke Kousaka, a normal seventeen-year-old high school student, hasn't gotten along with his younger sister, Kirino, in years. For longer than he can remember, Kirino has ignored his comings and goings and looked at him with spurning eyes. It seemed as if the relationship between Kyousuke and his sister, now fourteen, would continue this way forever.

One day, however, Kyousuke finds a DVD case of a magical girl anime entitled Hoshikuzu Witch Merle (Stardust Witch Merle), which had fallen into the entranceway of his house. To Kyousuke's surprise, inside the case is a hidden adult video game titled Imouto to Koishiyo! (Love with Little Sister!). Kyousuke attempts to fish out the culprit who dropped the case by bringing up the topic of magical girl anime at the family dinner table. All that comes out is a strong negative reaction from his parents, especially his anti-otaku policeman father.

That night, Kirino bursts into Kyousuke's room and, in perhaps the first conversation she has initiated with him in years, says they "have things to talk about." Kirino brings Kyousuke to her room and shows him an extensive collection of moe anime and lolicon ero games she has been collecting in secret.

now with a set up like this you know that alot of hijinks involving the MC and his sister are going to go down iv just finished the second ep and I have to say its pretty good and I loved the gundam name drop in ep2 as well as the name drop of evangelion in bolth ocations I acholy had to stop the ep and go back to see that I was bolth hearing and reading it right witch I was and since wer on the topic of hearing lets move onto the voiceing the voices are good the MC kousaka is voiced by Nakamura, Yuuichi all my fellow key fans will know this name from clannad as he is the voice of none other than tomaya okazuki this was one of my resons for watching this anime along with its nice chariter desing and OST the op and end are nice thow you whont see me whating in line for the CD but it duse its job of geting you intaresed in the show thow that is mainly do to the sinamatic not the music
