Hey guys OtakuNick hear witch a new review for you. Yes I know Its been a long time but I was in a rely big slump but now Im back and tho I will not be posting as often I will be posting what I love the post the most reviews of anime. Because Iv alwaysed beleved its the duty of thows that have watched way to much to gide thows that have watched almost nothing. so with out any more delays lets get to it.


Production
This anime was brout to us by three company's first being Sunrise beast known for being the animation company behind the mobile suit Gundam franchise witch hase be going for nerly 35 years now. But they where also the company that gave us Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, and many more anime now cunsitered classics. the next two companys are mor like one as they are just to branches of the same parent company Aniplex, and Aniplex of America. If thow names ring more bells in your head then sunrise that is no saprise as they are the ones that brout you animes like Blood+, Darker then black, and most notably Fullmetal Alchemist and  Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. So needless to say this anime has alot of big names behind it.

Staff
Now then even if the show was made by big companys that dosint meen they will be good no thats up to the staff. And let me say the people that worked on this anime know thar stuff. First off we have the Director Matsuo, Kou thow I wouldint call him the most well know director he dos a okay job hear and sum of his more notable works includ being on the Storyboard staff for Gundom 00. next up is Okouchi, Ichiro the script writer unlike Matsuo Kou  Okouchi, Ichiro is what Id call a big time player as he work on sum farly high profiled shows as a script writer such as Trun A gundam, code geass, and Eureka Seven He even wrote the  Screenplay from one of my favret lesser know anime Shigofumi. So needless to say the scrip is in good hands. Now then whare would a Mecha anime be without kick ass robots well Washio, Naohiro has you covered thar this is the man behinf the Fafner in Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor - Exodus and he makes sum rely cool looking mecha for this anime.

Story
True Calendar (T.C.) 71 - A new age where 70% of the human population lives in space thanks to the development of "Dyson Sphere", a city in space.

The world is divided into two main powers: The Dorssia Military Pact Federation, a power which grew out of a military alliance, and the Atlantic Rim United States (ARUS), which grew in power as it expanded its trade agreements. The minor nation of JIOR has declared neutrality between these two forces and maintains its peace through economic prosperity.

Within the JIOR's Sphere, Haruto Tokishima lived an ordinary life as a high school student in the division known as "Module 77"—until the Dorssian military begins their sudden invasion!

But the whole world will be shaken when Haruto meets the mysterious humanoid weapon, Valvrave!

Now then the story may seem like your basic gundam rip off and cunsitering this animes back ground one couldint be blamed for doing so. But its the sub plots that are rely going to get you to watch this anime. And I must say the way the first season leaves off you will ether be dreading you have to wait so long for season two or just give up on the show. myself I cant wait for season two.

Art/Animation
like I sed this anime was made by both sunrise and aniplex two companys known for having good animation in thare more high profile shows and let me just say they do no disapont sunrise is in top form with animating the mecha and aniplexes charters are as crisp and emoting as ever when it comes to animation this show has the beast of bolth worlds.
 

Sound/Music

Okay so so fare we hve talked about the story, art and who made the show all that is left is how the show sounds. I have to say I love the OST and sound effects in this show plain and simple. Yes the OST is no ware near Yoko Kano level work but for this show is great I always have a hard time skipping the OP and I never skip the ending theme as for insert songs thow non stick out to me as must haves at the time they worked varry well. so over all I say this is a varry nicely put togreather sound track

Vertic

Okay so for you that just like a yea or nay type revie and dont whant to read my long winded review hears the clifnotes. the show is good it come from good stock and its art is good looking. the story is okay the main plot will not be turing many heads but the subplots will keep you intaresed in the show  and show is has a polerising ending for the first season thare will be a second season. and the music is nice. so basicly Im say this is worth a watch .

OtakuNick Reviews Zone of the Enders: Idolo Blu-ray remaser

Hey guys its me OtakuNick and Im hear with a review Iv been wanting to do for so long. As sum of you might alredy know when it comes to Kojimas games I hold his Zone of the enders games above the metal gear solid games. I dont know why myself I think MGS is fun but ZOE just has sumthing more to it that rely lends to kojimas style of wrighting. Anyway what I will be reviewing today is not the ZOE games but a spin off OVA that comes befor the Games and the subsaquent full langth anime serries zone of the enders Dolores I. so please sit back and enjoy



Z.O.E. 2167 Idolo will take place a few years prior to the events of the series Z.O.E Dolores,i, and is centered on the "Deimos Incident," an act of terrorism by the Mars revolutionaries.

The BAHRAM army pilots Radium and Viola are the best in their class, and have such have been chosen to do spearhead testing on a new type of weapon; Mars hopes this weapon will liberate them from the UNSF's (United Nations Space Force) tyranny. This new technology called the "Orbital Frame," and is powered by an extreamly rare and powerful source of energy known as metatron ore.

This OVA depicts the Deimos incident, and the story leading up to this incident. That pretty much sums up the plot but after re watching this OVA I will have to admit even thow it takes place befor the anime and the games this is sumthing that truly cant be apresheated untill youv seen the anime and played the games. But evebn if you havent it is a good story its just fans of the other work will apresheat it more.

As for the art the old desings have taken well to the blu-ray upscal. ofcorse its not perfect the aspect reshio is a bit wierd going more vertacal then harazontal. But thats probly due more to the OVA being made in a squared format like 480P but all the models look good and the colors are much brighter and pop nicly.

But if thare is one thing I have to say I loves hands down about this OVA its the sound track just like the games this OVA has scors in it that are just bone chillingly beautiful espesholy the ending  Kiss Me Sunlights by  Heart of Air witch is also the opening theme of the first zone of the enders game witch is so fitting that it hurts



last on my list of things to go thew is the voice work witch is rely good. My first time watching this was back when I was in midel school and I saw it Dub so this was my first time watching the OVA in japanese and I have to say the japanese blows the old dub away hands down the better voice work. but both are good.

Over all this is a absalut must see for ZOE fans and truth be told if your a ZOE fan and you havent seen this whats wrong with you. but for all you reguler mecha fans that have never heard of ZEO in any way shape or form this is a good OVA and it is a good way to get into the franchis. Witch with the ZEO HD coletion out now you rely dont have a reson to not to try and get into.

first thoughts on blood-c

hey guys i know this post is almost two weeks late but works had be by the balls recently and i have not been in the mood to type anything till now. but today i fell good and id think its about time i do a first thought on a new anime that came out this season. so without further adue hear are my thoughts on blood-c

i know i promised to do a review on blood the last vampire and blood+ before doing this. but i never got around to it but i will get around to it before the series is over so please be pashent with me.

the story of this new blood anime seems interesting enough Ukishima Shrine is located in an old, picturesque lakeside town. Shrine maiden Kisaragi Saya lives there along with her father, Tadayoshi. By day, she lives the life of a normal high school student at Sanbara Academy. By night, she hunts the Old Ones. Possessing supernatural physical prowess, the Old Ones prey on humans, and only Saya has the ability to defeat them. but the first ep rely did not do much for me
for the most part it was to show off the new saya witch is a massive divergent from the previous two the first of witch was emotionless and the second one being emo most of the time so i have to say its a nice change of pace to see this happy care free saya

the art was good iv always been a clamp fan so its not surprising that i liked the character designs and the animation was good but i don't give production I.G. points for that any more the music is always good but Sato, Naoki behind in charge that was going to be a given for thos that don't know him he was the composer for Eureka Seven and Heroic Age bolth of witch have great music


over all i have to say i will be continuing this anime as far as production quality, music, voice acting, and story is concerned this is a good anime and only personal preference shood keep you from watching it

otakunick reviews DR who franchise (the three doctors)

   
  hey guys i am back to give you another DR who review this time on a older DR who story DR who the three doctors but before that let me give you a little run down on how this is posable in DR who the doctor is from a race called the time lords now the time lords have a trait that alows them exstremly long life spans and that is they have 13 lives when a time lord dies he insted morphs into a new body and once all 13 lives have been used thats it they die for good(tho in sum cases sum time lords finds ways around that ) ofcorse this is just sum thing the creator came up with to exsplane why the DR was being played by sum one els but in the end it created sum nice storys and plot ponts 


not to the plot just like my waters of mars review this will be a complete over view so Thar will be spoilers

A superluminal signal is sent to Earth, carrying with it an unusual energy blob that seems intent on capturing the Third Doctor. In the meantime, the homeworld of theTime Lords is under siege, with all the power sustaining it being drained through a black hole. Trapped and desperate, the Time Lords do the unthinkable and break the First Law of Time, allowing the Doctor to aid himself by summoning his two previous incarnations from the past.

Unfortunately, the First Doctor is trapped in a time eddy, unable to fully materialize, and can only communicate via viewscreen, but the Second Doctor joins the Third in investigating the origins of the creature and the black hole, while UNIT headquarters faces an attack by the gel-like alien creatures.

The First Doctor deduces the black hole is a bridge between universes, and the other two Doctors allow the TARDIS to be swallowed up by the energy creature, which transports them, Dr Tyler, Jo Grant, Sergeant Benton and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart into an antimatter universe created by the legendary Time Lord Omega. Omega was a solar engineer who created the supernova that powers Time Lord civilization, but was considered killed in the explosion. In actuality, he had been transported to the antimatter universe, where his will and thought turned the formless matter into physicality. Trapped, due to the fact that his will is the only thing maintaining reality, he vowed revenge on the Time Lords who left him stranded.

It is clear that the exile has made Omega quite insane. Along with his revenge, he has summoned the Doctors here to take over the mental maintenance of the antimatter universe so he can escape. However, the Doctors discover that years of exposure to the corrosive effects of the black hole's singularity have destroyed Omega's physical body - he is trapped forever. Driven over the edge by this discovery, Omega now demands that the Doctors share his exile.

The Doctors escape briefly, and offer Omega a proposition. They will give him his freedom if they send the others back to the positive matter universe. Omega agrees, and when that is done, the Doctors offer Omega a force field generator containing the Second Doctor's recorder, which had fallen in it prior to the transport through the black hole. Omega knocks the generator over in a rage and the unconverted positive matter recorder falls out of the force field. When the recorder comes into contact with the antimatter universe, it annihilates everything in a flash, returning the Doctors in the TARDIS to the positive matter universe. The Third Doctor explains that death was the only freedom anyone could offer Omega.

With the power now restored to the Time Lords, they are able to send the First and Second Doctors back to their respective time periods. As a reward, the Time Lords give the Third Doctor a new dematerialization circuit for the TARDIS and restore his knowledge of how to travel through space and time.

now then as a fan of DR who in genarol i have to say i loved this story but at the same time i can say that if you hate old looking shows then this is not the DR who for you being that it aird from 12/30/1972-1/20/1973 and rely shows its age but for a show of its age it also looks good one thing that all the old DR who shows have in comen is that they never had a big bugit but still looked great now then with that sed i rely do think if you whant to get into DR who this is not the place to start youd get to cunfused so watch sum of the new DR who or sum of the older stuff get info and then watch this but at sum point make shore to watch it

so what dos clamp and blood the last vampire have in comen

well first off clamp is doing the art for the new blood anime thats right a new PV for blood-c the new blood anime that will have clamp doing the charter designing is up and i have to say i acholy like it more then both the original and blood+ charter design now iv haven't rely dune much in the lines of reshurch but blood-c is slated for the July 2011 release with a movie flowing it sumtime in 2012 now i am a big fan of both production I.G and clamp as well as loving blood and blood+ so i am rely hope full for this anime so exspect my full review when the anime comes out as well as reviews for blood and blood+ right befor the anime comes out

otakunicks retro reviews (appleseed)

hey guys i'm back with another retro review and this time i am looking at appleseed sum of you are probably scratching your heads thinking how is this a retro review the appleseed movie came out in the mid 2000's well yes there was a appleseed movie in the 2000's but i am looking at its predecessor witch was made back in 1988 and in my opinion its the spearer film


now appleseed was originally a manga written by Shirow, Masamune back in 1985 who other then making appleseed also made ghost in the shell and most recently real drive so needless to say this story is coming from a man well versed in cyberpunk story's 


and story is where appleseed shines After World War 3 the General Management Control Office construct an experimental city known as Olympus inhabited by humans, cyborgs and bioriods. Bioriods are a genetically engineered being created to serve mankind. They run all administration of Olympus. Olympus was meant to be a utopian society. But for some it is less of a utopia and more of a cage. Calon Mautholos, an Olympus city police officer, is one of these people. Calon secretly conspires with a terrorist, A. J. Sebastian, to destroy Gaia, a super computer that runs Olympus. Out to stop them are Olympus city police SWAT team members Deunan Knute and Briareos Hecatonchires. Deunan and Briareos are determined to stop the terrorist plot by any means necessary.


as for voice work id have to say its around above the norm for the 80's and the ENG dub is not haff bad i can say the only reason i watch it in Japanese is because thats what i first watched it in witch is saying sum thing for a 80's movie


and speaking on the 80's the art, animation style and even the music are obviously 80's witch is not necessarily a bad thing a lot of the best OVAs and movies come from the 80's in my opinion



over all i have to say if your a fan of cyberpunk and of the maker of ghost in the shell watch this movie it dusint tie into the newer movies but its still worth the watch

no new news so hears a review of yet another old ass anime iv seen

 

hey guys like i sed i cud not for the life of me find any interesting news that had has not already been talked about the point that its worth talking about anymore so i thought i would use the down time to tell you guys about another old anime i watched when i was first geting into anime as a hard core otaku


your probably wondering what anime il be reviewing and to answer that question il be reviewing maze of the haze witch was a anime made in the late 90s from Producers: J.C. Staff who brought us Azumanga Daioh as well as director Suzuki, Iku who gave us Moonlight Mile


the story of maz is actually  a Farly interesting one Maze wakes up in her house, everything is a wreck and she has amnesia. Before she can gather what has happened the girl Mill storms into her house thanking her for having saved her life. She tells Maze that her house suddenly fell down from the sky and crushed Mills pursuers under it. However before long they are both on the run from further pursuers who want their hands on princess Mill. They are only saved when Maze discovers that she has phantom light magical powers and can summon Mills family heirloom mecha. However her performance with the mecha is weak; that is until the sun goes down and she is turned in to a lecherous man. Soon other travellers join them as Maze tries to protect Mill and figure out what she is doing in this fantasy world.


the story starts off taking a bit from the wizard of OZ but quickly turns into sum thing completely deferent and just let me say there is sum thing a lot more to the female and male maz then first meets the eye witch Leeds to sum thing completely out of left field in the latter haff of the show but over all its a rely great story

the art is the token 90s art witch i personally love but sum may not all i have to say is if you liked the art of outlaw star then you will probably like this too and the animation quality  is just as good everything flows and detail is not lost during the fights witch is actually sum thing that happens a lot more in newer anime then the older stuff


and just like other animes from the 90s the OST is one to envy with bolth normal and rock scores i especially love the op witch sounds great in bolth its on air length and it full witch i have been playing in a loop wall writing this review











now i am going to end this hear because if i don't i will probably end up typing up a book at this rate so i will just end it by telling you that you shoud go out and get this anime at lest id like to say that but this was not rely one of the most popular anime in the 90s and because of that the DVDs are hard to come buy i don't even have the anime on DVD but if you can find it i say buy it 
becuse you will most likely not get another chance

i know its a bit late but i finally got around to watching summer wars

yea yea i know why the hell didn't you watch this back in 09 well to answer that i was drowning in work from school and never had the time and once i got the time i completely forgot to watch it untill now manly because i re watched the girl who leapt thew time whose Character Design Yoshiyuki Sadamoto was also one the Arthur of the sumer wars novel so after i re watched the girl who leapt thew time i got to thinking i shud rely watch sumer wars witch i just finished no more then 10 mints of starting this post so without further distractions hears my review of sumer wars

the story is defanetly one of the beast iv seen in a good time nuthing in the current anime season can even conpar with how this story is told hers the just of it

When timid eleventh-grader and math genius Kenji Koiso is asked by older student and secret crush Natsuki to come with her to her family's Nagano home for a summer job, he agrees without hesitation. Natsuki's family, the Jinnouchi clan, dates back to the Muromachi era (1336 to 1573), and they've all come together to celebrate the 90th birthday of the spunky matriarch of the family, Sakae. That’s when Kenji discovers his "summer job" is to pretend to be Natsuki's fiance and dance with her at the birthday celebration. As Kenji attempts to keep up with Natsuki's act around her family, he receives a strange math problem on his cell phone which, being a math genius, he can't resist solving. As it turns out, the solution to the mysterious equation causes the bizarre verchual world the world of OZ to collide with Earth, and it's up to Kenji and his new fake family to put reality back in order.

now to most of you this probably dos not sound all that interesting but the way this story plays out cant help but draw you in the movie is pretty long nearly 2 hours in length but i can honestly tell you that i thought i was only siting at my pc for 10 mints thats how fast the story gos its rely amazing on just how there capably of telling a story this complex with so many charter's and still make it easy to fallow and entertaining

honestly i cant find a flaw in the movie worth posting out i know i am not the most harsh reviewer out there but i pride myself on knowing what is genially good and bad and this movie is 100% good the love story witch is defiantly a background aspect and that is handled more in a action movie oh he saved us i love him sort of way fits well and dos not feel out of place and the music tho it rely not that prevalent is Farly good i especially like the ending but then again i liked Matsumoto, Akihiko work in black jack(2004) as well so it was safe to asum id like it hear as well

over all i have to say to see this movie fubimation is bringing it over hear to the US and I look forwerd to owing the BRD of this movie

Sora Kake Girl getting a US release by bandai entertainment as well as new trailer for k-on end dub

now i myself have not seen this anime one of my co hosts has told me on numerous times to watch it tho so i will take his word for it and tell you guys you shud watch this too

and even if he had not told me to watch it the story seem fun so i would probly whatch it ether way

The story is set in the year 311 of the Orbital Calendar, when humanity has migrated to countless colony clusters in space. A space colony girl named Akiha Shishidou encounters a malevolent artificial intelligence named Leopard that has been installed on a colony.

Akiha is joined by an Inter-Colony Police officer named Itsuki Kannagi, a taciturn young girl named Honoka Kawai, and a robot named Imoko "Imo-chan" Shishidou.

now bandai is bring this anime out in 2011 under the name the girl who leapt thew space this may case people to ask is this a anime sequel to the movie the girl who leapt thew time no it is not and i think it was a bad idea to go with the littoral translation on this animes name sora kake girl would have worked just fine but what ever its there chose

now Thar was sum thing els bandie is doing and lets just say i like the show but the ENG dub kinda makes not want to buy the DVD(tho i will be buying them) and that is k-on yes this is sum what old news that bandai would be bring k-on over hear to the US but for me this was the first time hearing the ENG dub and i have to say aside from mio's im not that big on the dub i mean its not bad but they rely fucked up with yui's and ritsu's voices

new release formate for Eden of the est and ga rei zero

Over the past few days, Eden of the East: King of Eden and Ga-Rei-Zero both received changes to their release formats. Instead of the standard DVD and Blu-Ray releases, the titles will be released in combination packs.

this is not sum thing you see all to often in anime in Live action movies yea you see it all the time but not rely in anime i for one think this is a good idea it allows the people who have made the switch to BRD(blue ray disc) and the ones who haven't both get the seres but at the same time

how ever i cant help but think this release will be massively expansive compared to a standard release of ether BRD or DVD by them selfs but ether way i am looking forward to this because as of right now i haven't made the switch to BRD but i do intend to do so because more and more anime BRD have ENG subs already in them yea they may not be the best looking but there better then nothing

so what i am string to say is if you can go out and buy these releases when thy come out i know i will be

gundam 00 awakening of the trailblazer

dont let the name fool you becuse this movie awakened nuthing in fact it was quite bland over all and didint rely fell like a gundam movie espesholy twords the end

hers a quic run down of the story its about 2 years after the events of season 2 and the EFG(earth federation guverment) has set its sites beond earth and into deep space perparing the massiv space cruser Celestial Being for a intersteler voig but a masterus foow from juperter has difret plains atacking people who have the trats of inovaters

i know invaders from jupiter what is this nadesico sadly now you see this movie thow still good dusint feel anything like a gundam movie if they tuck the gundam out and replased then with any other giant robot you woodint be abel to tell the difrince this is juat your run of the mill sci-fi anime movie

now with my thouts on the story dune lets move on the the tech aspect on this movie it looks great i watched it 2 times once in 480P and once in 720P and i can say it look good in bolth high and low rezalution but if i had to chus id go with the 720P it looks slitely better then its 480P conterpart

i have to say i am a fan of the OST thar wer sum rely good songs and BGMs but then agen its rare for me not to like a OST as long as its not to hip hopy or popy il probly like it

im not a fan of the art style thow this is sumthing i neverd liked from season 1 in not a fan of bishoen chariter desings i just dont think they belong in gundam anime

so my final thouts are this isint sumthing you need to run out and see but at the same time you dont need to avode it like the plage this time it its just do as you feel i gave it a 8 becuse i just pretended i wasint watching gundam and watched it as any other sci-fi anime movie so do as you like

thats right I got my hands on a copy of macross f the false songstress the first of two macross f movies that reteale the story of macross f in a completly difrent way I meen rely if you go into this exspecting a compalation like the gundam movies then be perpared to be dead wrong becuse aside from one or 2 evants(witch even thows are sumwhat difrent to the anime) this is a hole new macross f the over all story remans the same alto whants to fly ranka whant to sing shit hits the fan all the normol stuff youed exspet from macross but still this movie is alot better to the origanol anime in so many ways

the first of witch is the art macross F came out when CGI was just becomeing the norm for anime and yes it looked good for its time but the cg valcarys didint quite fit in with the hand drown city when it came toy the tv serres but in this movie evrything looks like it fight right togeather and the fights(however few thare wher) wher great


the next thing on my list is the OST yea what do you exspet its macross ofcors its gana have a nice OST and hell thare are alot of singing songs in the movie Iv must have seen the lirics pop up on screen atlest 10 to 15 times thewout the movie witch I never once mined becuse thar songs I love Il never get tierd of aimo thow one song I wood have loved to hear in this movie was missing and that was triangel the first OP from the anime I understand why its not thare but still it wood have been nice to throw it in but other then that no real complaints


along with the songs and art the animation quolaty was amazing aswell then again I was waching it in 1080P so evrything was alredy going to look great but the fights realy wher brout up to a hole new level with this that it cud never get wen it first came out on tv it got so visholy intens that at one pont I had to puse it so I cud let my eyes rest a bit

ovcorse not evrything in this movie is good it sufers from random cuts meening that people end up places with no rime or reson for instens in the movie after ranka has a fight with ozuma about her singing and she runs off we get a cut to him being in a car with Cathy whar in the prier seen he was in his house how or why he gets into the car will be a complet lose to anyone who hasent seen the anime other then that this movie relly stands on its own 2 feet

over all I have to say fly out and find this movie and watch it if your a fan of macross and if this is your first introduction to macross then I say go back and watch from the first serres and come back becuse youl be better off that way and speeking of old macross anime in the prevews for the next movie we are treted to sumthing rely cool a VF-1s in niki basaras color skeem what this meens I have no clue but if basara shows up to sing with sherly and ranka I will litaraly shit bricks

look out twilight real men can sparkol too

thats right they can and now in a wimpy way ether in the nadesico move akito sparkols in a totaly bad ass why your probly whondering how well go watch the movie and find the fuck out your self Martian Successor Nadesico - The Prince of Darkness is the sequell movie I talked about in my review of Martian Successor Nadesico it came out Aug 1, 1998 and as I sed had mixed feeling hear in the US becuse the game that takes place between the anime and movie never came out hear but over all I love it Its just as fun as the anime and abit more dark too (thow not much) the musice is pretty mutch the same as the animes with a nice ending thema called dearest by Yumi Matsuzawa

over all like I sed befor I loved this movie the intier cast comes back at one pont or another and all do sumthing for the plot the new castmembers feel like they wher thar from the begining witch is good becuse that meens thy fit in nicely with the rest of the normol cast yes I was cunfused after watching it befor reading the synopsis of the game but once I did it filled in all the gaps over all I give Martian Successor Nadesico - The Prince of Darkness 9 class A boson jupers or of 10 this was a nice thing that XEBEC did for the nadesico fans true its not as good as if we got a nother anime but still its better then nuthing and its ending leve room for more (thow with it been 10 years alredy the chanses of them exspening on nadsieco are pretty slim) so if your a fan go pick this up

lol I know the title was bad but I think its fitting for the first first thouts of the new summer season after retering from my short vacation and I thout why not start things off with a anime adaptation of a manga I resently reviewd HSOTD(high school of the dead)


since this anime is shaping out to be a carben coppy of the manga I relly do think I ned to go into the story but for thows that havent read that review hear you go

In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.

The story is initially narrated through the eyes of Takashi Komuro, one of the students who had survived in the initial outbreak.

alot of people on anime forums like 4chans /a/ like to call this story ganaric but its relly not Im a avid horror movie fan and zombie movies are among my favret of the ganra Iv watched almost all of them and this is a freash new take on a zombie story first off thare all just kids with one adult second each cariter has a skill that helps keep them togeather (Il get into that in a latter review) and therd thare all bat shit crazy (well mabby not that bad) but from reading the manga its obveus this kids wer born for for the harsh world they have been thown into

now that the storys out of the way Id like to take a moment to talk about the art it seems to bee falawing closly to the manga witch is sumthing Im relly happy about becuse I love the mangas art


the music is good to the BGMs fit with the mood and the OP and endings are great they relly fit the over all mood of fear anger and despar the cast all feel and transmits it right to you I persanaly will be geting this for my persanol colection




as it stands I whant to give this anime a 10 right now but I have to give it a 9 for one reson and that wood be out of fear from the ending for thous that dont know this animes manga hasint ended and it look like it bee going on for a long time meening this anime will be ending difrently from the manga witch scars me alil I worred they ill completly fuck up with the ending so for now this anime gets 9 flesh eaters out of 10

now thet you have an idea about the basics of the story I need to tell you that its not the fanservus or the action that makes the story great its the cast each person has thare own good and bad ponts to them heal the leader of the group cudint even frie a shot gun corecly at the beging but its becuse of that that you relly start to care for the cast hell you even start caring for sum people thats only been in the manga for 2 chapters and this is the reson I gave high school of the dead 10 coragus police girls out of 10 and be shore to come back for my thouts of the u pcomeing high school of the dead anime this july
